This policy covers findyourfirsthome.com and search.findyourfirsthome.com. Both sites are run by Jeff Mix and Lee Ann Mix, real estate agents with Realty ONE Group, 8395 W. Sunset Rd. #190, Las Vegas, NV 89113.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms. When you ask to see a home or tell us what you are looking for, we get your name, phone number, email address and anything you write in the form.
- Your home search account. If you sign up on search.findyourfirsthome.com, our home search provider, Showcase IDX, stores your name, email, phone number if you give it, the homes and searches you save, and the listings you view.
- How you use the sites. Our sites record the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, your city, and how you found us. This comes from cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel.
Neither site asks for your Social Security number, bank account or credit card number.
How we use it
- To answer you, set up showings and send you homes that fit what you asked for.
- To send the listing alerts you signed up for. You can turn them off from any alert email.
- To see which pages and videos help people, and to show our ads to people who may be buying a first home.
Calls and texts
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request and about homes for sale. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text and we stop texting you. Agreeing to calls or texts is never a condition of working with us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:
- With the companies that run these sites for us: Netlify and Hostinger for hosting, Showcase IDX for home search, Google for analytics and Meta for advertising. They use it to provide their service to us.
- With a lender, title company or another agent when you ask us to connect you, or when a purchase you asked us to help with needs it.
- With our brokerage, Realty ONE Group, for transaction records.
- When the law requires it.
Cookies and ads
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To limit ads based on your activity, use your Facebook ad preferences, your Google ad settings, or the opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info. Blocking cookies may sign you out of your home search account.
Listing information
Listings on search.findyourfirsthome.com come from the Las Vegas REALTORS® MLS through Showcase IDX. The information is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. It is provided for consumers’ personal, non-commercial use to find homes they may be interested in buying.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while we are working with you and as long as our business records and the law require. Ask us and we will delete what we are allowed to.
Your choices
- Ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Stop texts by replying STOP. Stop emails with the unsubscribe link.
- Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as Nevada law (NRS 603A) defines it. You can still send an opt-out request to the email below and we will honor it.
Children
These sites are for adults buying a home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
Both sites use encrypted connections. No website is perfectly secure, so please do not send bank statements or other financial documents through our forms.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
